I get a bit jealous when I look at 70s porn and all the women had full bushes. Pube maintenance is just so much work, plus the ingrown hairs and the itchy regrowth – ugh! I’ve only ever had one or two partners express a preference, otherwise I just trim if it starts to get too long. For my partners, I prefer trimmed or natural.

As a guy I trim but have shaved in the past – never again. So painful on regrowth etc.
I don’t expect anything more or less from my partner and don’t really mind either way although I did date a girl who was always very shaven/waxed – TBH I found it kinda weird, she was small and a little younger than me anyway and it just added to the age issue for me haha. Was much ‘easier’ for oral tho!

As much as I hate discovering a pubic hair in my mouth after oral, I like my partner to be all natural – but I’m not fussed. I’ve been asked if I could shave before and that was a bit hurtful. I leave the ~bermuda triangle~ and shave the rest off. Ingrown hairs are just the worst though. Same with little nicks! Yeeow!

As a person who doesn’t engage in the oral (giving or receiving – it’s just not for me), I give not one damn about what my partner does.
I myself vary based upon whether I give a damn at that point about neatness (and somewhat whether my dermatitis issues are causing the worst form of itchy shaving rash).
@curious I heard it somewhere else and thought it was a cute way of referring to it, haha.
Of course you can ask. It’s not really a strong preference – I do happen to think hair is quite sexy on my partner, but if he shaved it bald it wouldn’t make a difference to me. Hair just works for me is all.
@Aunt_Flo is it Bermuda because you can get lost down there!? haha

My personal choice for myself is waxing but not fussed about a partner’s pubic hair – although maybe my experience has only been with neat hair so far! 😀
My preference is a little bit aesthetic but mostly for comfort. It’s impossible to be completely smooth at all times, and stubble just doesn’t feel very nice during sex. I don’t even like pash rash on my face…

@curious it just means how it looks!
